My New Chromebook

I bought an ASUS C200MA Chromebook – because I wanted to get away from Microsoft and its Windows 10 – which I hate.

This Chromebook looks like any other laptop, and is the same as any other laptop – except it uses the Chrome Operating System, made by Google – instead of the Windows Operating System, made by Microsoft.

It uses a solid state hard drive – which is more reliable. And relies heavily on the Cloud, where many of its operations take place.

Everyone is now moving to the Cloud – because it is so much cheaper! Huge advances in Internet software are making this faster – almost as fast as native software. The average user will not notice the difference.

Are there drawbacks? Yes, and I will be going into them, as I learn about this new toy.

Stay tuned, for the latest developments.
